Sierra Stipetich

Sierra Stipetich joined VNB in 2022 and danced Cinderella at the Arts Alive Festival, the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker at Capital One Hall and the Hylton Performing Arts Center, Jasmine in Aladdin at the Hylton, and solo roles in the world premiere of Rafik Hegab’s “The Four Seasons” at the Hylton.   Sierra comes from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, and attended Pittsburgh Ballet Theater School’s Graduate Program where she trained from 2019-2022.  At PBT’s Graduate Program, she studied with Susan Jaffe, Marjorie Grundvig, Dennis Marshall, Terrence Orr, Janet Popeleski, Eun Young Ahn, Marianna Tcherkassky, Christopher Budzynski, Erin Halloran and Christine Schwaner.  Prior to Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, she trained with Mansur Kamaletdinov; at Ballet Academy of Pittsburgh with Lindsey Piper and Steven Piper, and Pittsburgh Youth Ballet with Jean Gedeon, Alan Obuzor, Robert Steele, Dana Arey, and more. She has performed in PBT productions of The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, George Balanchine’s Serenade, Raymonda, La Bayadère, and Coppélia.    She is thrilled to be dancing again with VNB in the 2023-24 season!
